Eric Smith is the manager of Operations and Data Management at Harris Associates L.P. His role is multi-functional in that he manages the Ops and Data Management group, serves as the firm’s Data Governance Manager, and also serves as the firm’s Market Data Coordinator. In his role, Eric is responsible for leading and executing the Data Governance program at Harris Associates.

Eric has 14 years of experience in financial services and 7 years in data integrity/data management roles. Prior to Harris Associates L.P., Eric was with Guggenheim Partners as their VP, Valuations and Data Integrity, JP Morgan as a part of their middle office function within the investment bank, Northern Trust in various roles, and Towers Perrin.
